2022 became the year of several successes for "Nairi Insurance" LLC by marking Nairi as the largest profit insurance company, increasing the insurance portfolio and gaining the trust of new customers. In terms of new achievements, this year is already not inferior to the previous one for the company.
Banks.am had an interview with Mane Martirosyan, the executive director of "Nairi Insurance" and she introduced the important achievements of the previous year and opened brackets about the surprises the clients may expect during the upcoming year.
Achievements and sustainable development of 2022!
Being among the top three insurance companies of RA, "Nairi Insurance" became the with the largest profit in 2022 insurance company. The importance of this index is also emphasized by the fact that today "Nairi Insurance" is included in the list of the first 1000 large taxpayers, where it is the first among the 3 existing insurance companies.
The growth of the insurance portfolio is also one of the achievements of the previous year. The portfolio of the insurance sector in RA increased by 25% in 2022, and the portfolio of "Nairi Insurance" by 37%. These indicators are positive both from the point of view of the development of the insurance sector in RA, as well as the stable growth and prospective development of our company.
Along with the growth of the portfolio, of course, we also expanded the circle of our clients. Today we cooperate with more than 3,000 companies, as well as with more than 250,000 customers.
In addition, today "Nairi Insurance" has more than 10 corporate clients in the field of health insurance with more than 200 employees. This indicator proves that large and developing companies prefer working with us.
The year 2022 was also significant for us with 2 awards. As a result of surveys conducted by the National Association of Consumers, we won the "Consumer's Choice" award, and the National Council of Trust has recognized Nairi Insurance as the "Insurance Company of the Year".
These awards are based on consumer surveys and are the most valuable in the insurance industry. Such trust proves that we have chosen the right path and are acting justly.
Nairi family
During this entire journey, we have always emphasized the role of our team. Instead of the words worker or employee, it is customary for us to use the Nair family, and Nairi family members, as these achievements would be impossible without the united and daily hard work of our family members towards our goal. As of now, our family has more than 200 members, of which about 21% have been with us for more than 10 years, and 17% for 5-10 years. These indicators confirm that we are united in our family, as well as we may be considered an attractive employer due to the wide packages offered to employees and a flexible evaluation system.
New year- New achievements
We started the rating process by the international "Moody's" rating agency last year, and this year we have already been awarded a B1 rating. It is noteworthy that "Nairi Insurance" is the first-rated insurance company in RA. In addition, the achievement of such a high rating from the very first experience proves our stable position in the RA insurance sector.
We have already managed to make our travel insurance customers happy with the news of a unique opportunity. By now insurance companies have worked through support organizations, and a certain amount of expenses have been reimbursed exclusively after returning to Armenia and presenting the appropriate payment grounds. Egypt is a destination where people travel with certain budget constraints or planning. Considering this fact, we’ve decided to provide the most convenient services to our customers, creating an opportunity to use high-quality medical services without the need to pay on the spot.
This became possible last month thanks to the cooperation agreement with the Egypt Global Assistance company. From now on, our clients can apply to any of the partner medical centres of Egypt Global Assistance, which will apply to us, and if approved, will cover all costs without preconditions. It is noteworthy that our partner works with the best medical institutions in Egypt and that list is quite wide.
A new healthcare package for IT companies
"Nairi Insurance" is one of the leaders in health insurance packages as well as other types of insurance. We have implemented the idea of a personal doctor. In case of a problem, our clients always contact the same doctor, which strengthens trust and helps to organize the treatment process more effectively. Our software enables the medical expert to have easy access to the necessary information related to the given client, thanks to which the provided advice will be more effective.
Several additional examinations are frequently needed for the diagnosis of the disease, while the health insurance packages available in the insurance industry have certain exclusions and monetary or quantitative limitations. To fill the gap, this year we have developed a new health insurance package that allows you to use an unlimited number of outpatient services without monetary restrictions.
Currently the package is developed specifically for IT sector organizations, and in case of success, we will make it available to a wider range of clients.
This package is of great importance to us, because thanks to ambulatory examinations, it is possible to detect and prevent several dangerous diseases earlier.
Future-oriented social programs
Along with business success, we expand the scope of social responsibility more and more. In the implemented programs, it is a priority for the company to contribute to the saturation of the educational sector with modern technological systems, because the basis of a strong economy is quality education.
One of our latest projects is to equip the school in Berdavan with technology, which will help pupils both in terms of knowledge enrichment and ambitious projects.
Within the framework of the same priority, "Nairi Insurance" will be the insurance partner of the Sevan Startup Summit this year.
Walking our way in the digital era
We primarily targeted ourselves in the digital environment. Today, we provide service exclusively remotely, as experience has shown that this is also the customer's demand. In this way, we save the time of our clients as much as possible.
We have upgraded our website, creating a personal office for customers. here it is possible to sign a contract, establish operational contact with our medical experts, see all contracts signed with Nairi, valid and completed, submit an application for compensation, follow its progress, see what its status is at the moment, and upload all the necessary documents. Through these new tools, our clients can contact us more quickly and flexibly, which fully corresponds to our slogan: closer to the client.
Today, our call centre works 24/7, handling more than 40,000 calls per month.
Earning the loyalty and trust of customers is the result of years of work and a high-quality internal control system. "Nairi Insurance" is ISO certified. As a result of the audit conducted by the German TÜV Rheinland auditing company, we were qualified with the 9001 quality certificate and the 27001 information security certificate. These are not just documents, but documents about the effective systems implemented in the company and quality assurance.
We constantly work towards customer satisfaction, conduct surveys, and correct deficiencies, if suddenly they occur, and thanks to this, we can maintain the loyalty of our customers and earn the trust of new customers year after year.
