What is covered by the program
Property damage caused to third parties as a result of an accident caused by the fault of the motor vehicle driver is compensated by the VMTPL contract, which exceeds the maximum amount to be compensated under the CMTPL contract.
The compensation is made within the limits of the difference of the amount of damage caused to the third parties’ vehicle and the compensation which the third party gets from CMTPL contract but not more than the sum insured specified in the VMTPL contract.
Example։ The damage caused to the third parties vehicle as a result of the accident due to your fault is AMD 2,600,000 1,800,000 AMD will be compensated to the injured party under the CMTPL contract․ If you do not have a VMTPL contract, you will compensate the third party for the remaining AMD 800,000 of damage. If you have a VMTPL contract, Nairi Insurance will compensate the third party for the mentioned AMD 800,000 instead of you.

VOLUNTARY MTPL
So how can Voluntary MTPL help you if you already have purchased a CMPTL contract?
Say you are responsible in the event of a road accident. What if the damage you have caused exceeds the amount to be reimbursed by your CMPTL contract? You will have to cover for damages on your own. However, if you have a Voluntary MTPL contract, the insurance company will cover for you.
